Wigwam® Holidays launches first accessible glamping cabin

One of the UK’s leading glamping accommodation providers, Wigwam® Holidays, has launched its brand new, innovative accessible cabin.

This timber construction, entitled Running Water Deluxe Accessible Wigwam® Cabin, was officially launched at the Wigwam® Holidays annual Conference, in November.

“Our new accessible cabin will have an electric charging point, a wide access wet room with grab rails, a ramp to get in and out of the cabin, lowered sink and hob, sufficient wheel chair turning circles and the fittings for a mobile hoist.

“The cabin has been kept under wraps with our exclusive design taking into consideration the various requirements that would allow full access. One of our Wigwam® Franchisees, The Loft, commissioned this new and innovative cabin and the site, based near Elgin, Scotland, will have the cabins ready for March 2019.”
