Business manager, Rosie Hopkins, will be one of the judges of this year’s British Farming Awards.
Now in its sixth year, the British Farming Awards are a true celebration of the creative thinking, innovation and dedication of British Farmers.
“It’s a real honour to be asked to judge the diversification innovator award and I’m very much looking forward to seeing what the entrants have to bring to the table,” says Miss Hopkins.
“I will be looking for those who have taken the time to thoroughly research and plan their diversification project and know their market inside out.
“With Brexit on the horizon, there is the risk that farmers will enter ‘quick-win’ diversifications that are not properly thought through, but these awards are a great way to celebrate the successes.”
There is a total of 14 awards categories recognising farming’s core sectors as well as acknowledging farmers who are adding value to their businesses.
As an awards process that prides itself on showcasing innovation and adaptability no matter what the size and scale of the business, it’s well worth a go at entering.
