First year of success at Wigwam® Holidays Builth Wells

Wigwam® Holidays Builth Wells, offering gorgeous glamping in Powys, Mid-Wales, is approaching its first birthday following an exciting year in the glamping industry.

Emma Staggs and Andrew Davies opened their Wigwam® Holidays site on 20th July 2018. Their site now includes six en-suite Running Water Deluxe Wigwam® Cabins – two with outdoor hot tubs - set around a peaceful freshwater lake.

Emma said, “The first year has flown by and we can’t believe we’re approaching our first ‘anniversary’.

“We had been aware of the Wigwam® Cabin brand for some time, having seen one of the luxury cabins at the Royal Welsh Show on previous occasions. We were impressed by the quality of the product.

“We have had some amazing guests since July last year and we are looking forward to greeting many more.”

Set within a picturesque working farm close to the town of Builth Wells, the site has the sounds of the surrounding countryside as its natural soundtrack. The site is close to the Wye Valley Walk, while other local attractions include the Black Mountain Activity Centre, the Brecon Beacons National Park and Builth Wells Golf Club.

Emma said, “One of our unique selling points is our own, private freshwater lake, which is close to the Wigwam® Cabins. Guests can use our kayaks free of charge during their stay. Swimming is also permitted in the lake and offers an exciting introduction to freshwater swimming, which is totally different to using an indoor pool.

“Each cabin also has a free firepit from us for that extra-special touch, great for relaxing in the evenings after a day of exploring the area.”
